Musicianship and Theory Grade Four & Five
Advanced Group, Intermediate GroupStructured, systematic and engaging material will form the basis of this more advanced class in music theory. Participants will be inspired by a wide range of listening material that link musical themes and elements of theory to new and known repertoire. The material covered will prepare participants for a Grade 5 assessment in Music Theory.

Piano, Folk, Choral and Instrumental Specialist Sessions
Advanced Group, Intermediate GroupThroughout the academic year 2024-2025, alongside our regular Core Programme, Macclesfield Music Centre will host guest musicians to deliver specialist bespoke workshops. These will run from 11:00 – 12:45; guests will include pianists, folk musicians, instrumental specialists, and choral leaders. These specialist workshops are Open for MMC members and non-MMC members; those attending are asked to contribute an additional fee as the cost of these workshops is not covered by our central membership fund; this will be collected via an ‘honesty box’ system. The programme of workshops will be available on the website, and on social media platforms; advertised in advance.
