Stockport Symphony OrchestraSaturday 28 Feb, 7:30pm

Programme including Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra and Florence Price’s piano concerto


Strings and winds tutors from the Northern Chamber Orchestra will be visiting MMC on Saturday 21st February. They will first work with the orchestra at 10am and then run masterclasses from 11-11:45.

The masterclasses are free to attend and open to all, including non-MMC members. Orchestral strings and woodwinds are welcome to come along and observe or participate. If you would like to participate please contact nicola.bright@maccmusiccentre.org.uk for further information and to check availability of slots.

The NCO will be performing at The King's School in Macclesfield at 7:30pm that evening (21st Feb) with a programme including Beethoven’s 8th symphony and Julian Bliss performing Mozart’s clarinet concerto. Tickets can be obtained here: https://www.ncorch.co.uk/nco_events/valencia/

Chamber music opportunity with the Minguet Quartett sponsored by the Goethe Institute.
Feb 28th 11am - 1pm, Performing Arts Block, Fallibroome Academy, SK10 4AF.

Come and listen to an open rehearsal given by the quartet and then observe or participate in a masterclass session.

Our 30th Anniversary concert featured as many of MMC's groups, from Beginners to Advanced! as possible that meet and play at MMC! It was a celebration of all that is so wonderful about MMC with all of you and your families.
