MMC runs courses during the summer holidays for adults and youth, with a range of orchestral and jazz ensembles.

Adult Jazz (27-31 Jul)
Small ensemble and Big Band playing alongside improvisation practice, theory and the history of jazz sessions. Grade 3+, Ages 18+

Adult Classical (10-14 Aug)
String orchestra and wind chamber ensembles. The string orchestra will be focusing on English music including Britten's Simple Symphony. There is also the opportunity for masterclass sessions with Martyn Parkes. Grade 5+, Age 18+

Youth ensembles course (3-7 Aug)
Small ensembles are created according to who signs up and we also join together to form a large orchestra. Grade 1+, Ages 7-17.
