Delve into the world of Saxophone ensemble playing with this ever-popular group, suitable for players Grade 2 and above. Parts will be carefully allocated and arranged to suit individual players.

This choir is for anyone wanting to delve into vocal technique and be challenged with more advanced choral repertoire. Ideal for anyone preparing for higher level grades to support aural training and musicianship.

Intermediate Wind Band

This popular and long-standing ensemble, taught by an experienced tutor, provides participants with a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment with parts designed to suit individuals. Suitable for woodwind, brass and percussion players Grade 3 and above.

Intermediate Strings

Suitable for string players grade 3 and above this ensemble provides the perfect introduction to the string orchestra repertoire. The focus of this group is to develop sight-reading and ensemble playing skills. Participants will enjoy the varied repertoire introduced by an experienced and popular tutor.

Jazz Improvisation

New to the programme for September 2021 this group gives members an opportunity to delve into the world of Jazz. For intermediate and advanced players, this group will initially focus on melodic improvisation.

Piano Class

After a successful start online, this class continues to provide an opportunity for pianists to share their progress, gain performance experience and discover new repertoire. Led by a tutor who has extensive experience, is warm and welcoming, and who always draws out the best in pupils. If you play the piano this group is really not to be missed!

Musicianship and Theory Grade Four & Five (under 18’s)

Structured, systematic and engaging material will form the basis of this more advanced class in music theory. Participants will be inspired by a wide range of listening material that link musical themes and elements of theory to new and known repertoire. The material covered will prepare participants for a Grade 5 assessment in Music Theory.
