Musicians from Macclesfield and the area are welcome to register for Macclesfield Music Centre's in-person group sessions on a Saturday morning with our team of expert tutors.
As an MMC member, you may attend as many of our groups as you wish - practically this means up to four groups, one per Saturday time-slot.
Membership fees for each term, with 10 Saturdays, are currently:
| Adult Members | £85.00 now starting September 19, 2026. |
| Under-18 Members | £42.50 now starting September 19, 2026. |
Our fees are set as low as possible to encourage maximum participation. Given this, we are unable to offer a reduction in fees if you join part way through the term.
Generous support from our Bursary donors enables us to hold a fund that provides financial assistance for those under-18s that would not otherwise be able to attend Macclesfield Music Centre. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about this support.

We have a new membership system for Autumn 2026 - all existing members should sign up for a new account this term!
To become an MMC member and attend groups for the current term, you will need to:
- create a membership account (if you haven't already done so);
- select whether you are registering an Adult or Under-18;
- choose how to pay;
- then select the groups you want to join.

If you’re an adult registering just yourself, you choose the Adult Member level.
If you’re an adult registering for yourself plus one or more children, you choose the Adult Member level. After completing your details, you will then have the option to add your Under-18s.
If you’re an adult registering just your children, you choose the Under-18 Member level. You’ll be asked to add your details and payment option, as well as your child’s details. You can add further Under-18s as necessary.
Each membership account can register one Adult member and up to three Under-18 members. If you require additional Under-18 members, please contact membership@maccmusiccentre.org.uk. Adult members should use their own separate membership account.
You can pay by debit/credit card or by bank transfer. Choosing card payment will take you to our payment portal. If you choose bank transfer, then this should be made within 3 weeks.
If you are new to MMC and are unsure whether you want to join, we recommend that you register on this site and choose to 'pay by bank transfer'. This will allow you to select MMC groups to attend without an upfront payment. Try out your sessions for two weeks, and then complete payment if you decide that you wish to continue. Payment will be required for anyone attending three or more sessions.
After you've registered as an Adult/U-18, you'll be able to select which groups you plan to attend this term. Please do this before attending so our group paperwork is up-to-date!
If you make a mistake when choosing your groups, don’t worry - just go back to your account and add the groups that you do want to attend. There is no need, or option, for you to unselect yourself from groups... we’ll be able to see which groups you end up attending.
