Advanced Orchestra
Advanced GroupSuitable for players grade 5+. Led by an experienced orchestral player and director, this group stretches and challenges participants with a diverse range of real orchestral repertoire. Wind places will be offered on rotation for a term at a time where excess numbers register. Past repertoire includes movements from Brahms, Beethoven Mozart and Mendelssohn symphonies, Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Verdi’s La Traviata and concerto movement opportunities.

Advanced Strings
Advanced GroupSuitable for orchestral string players of grade 4+. Rising grade 4 string players could come and try this group as well as Intermediate Strings. This group is led by a strings specialist and explores the string orchestra repertoire as well as providing a string sectional for the orchestra. Past repertoire includes arrangements of folk medleys, Tonight from West Side Story, Send in the Clowns, Florence Price Adoration and Janacek.

Adventurous Ukuleles
Advanced Group, Intermediate GroupSuitable for those who already have experience of Ukulele (Guitars are also welcome - be prepared to adapt ukulele parts), participants will enjoy the popular repertoire carefully chosen and arranged by the group tutor. No grade required but you should know at least ukulele chords in the key C major. Percussion and bass instruments also welcome.
