Two tutors from the NCO visited the Advanced Orchestra on Saturday 3rd October to work on the second movement from Mendelssohn’s 4th symphony. The orchestra rehearsal was followed by strings and winds sectionals.
One participant’s parent reported that:
X thought it was the most useful and helpful one yet and enjoyed the tutor’s approach very much.
Several members of the orchestra attended the NCO’s fabulous performance of the same symphony that evening, relishing the opportunity to hear a piece they have been studying in detail.
